Asian school of Management

The popularity of IT based management and science education in higher studies has soared tremendously in the recent years. Keeping in view to the growing craze for IT studies, a well managed college run by experienced faculty member is felt highly needed. In the changed global scenario, countries need highly professional human resources ready to manage challenges. Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology, (B.Sc. CSIT) have been most aspired courses among the Nepalese students for the past few years. Asian School of Management (ASM), a state – of – art management and science college, is established with a view to cater the needs of a full-fledge IT college. ASM imparts graduate and undergraduate IT courses at an affordable cost at a highly academic environment. ASM offers BIM and B.Sc.(CSIT) program in affiliation with Tribhuvan University. Founded by Professors, researchers, authors and IT Professionals. ASM is fully committed to impart quality education in a highly stimulating academic environment. The college endeavors to produce skilled manpower required in the field of management and IT sector.

Mission

The mission of ASM is to develop socially responsive, creative and result oriented management and IT professionals capable of fulfilling middle level managerial and technical positions in the rapidly growing business and IT sectors in Nepal and abroad.

  • Admission criteria

    Candidates who have passed 10+2 degree or equivalent from a recognized board or institution with at least second division can apply for BIM and B.Sc. (CSIT). The candidates should pass the Entrance Exam conducted by Tribhuvan University. As the admission is strictly on merit basis, only highly competitive candidates will be awarded this opportunity. English essay writing and interview before they will be regarded as eligible for an admission.
  • Scholarship and awards

    • First semester tuition fees will be waived to a student with highest score in his/her intermediate or HSEB enrolled to BIM and B. Sc (CSIT).
    • Full semester tuition fees will be waived to the semester topper in each semester.
    • Teaching Pedagogy

      Our faculty members are exceptionally qualified and experienced in student-centered teaching system. Besides, most of them are researchers and experts in their respective fields. The teaching pedagogy includes:

        Atleast 25% of total credit hour (32 credit hours) will be transferred for abroad study on the recommendation of Office of the Dean.

        Internship

        All the students should complete their internship and presentations. ASM offers internship for eight weeks in eighth semester to BIM as well as B.Sc. (CSIT) students. They will have to complete their internship from reputed financial, industrial and other IT sectors.
